Multipurpose Space

Description

  • Designed to be configurable to suit many different functions, the Faculty Hub MP space is available to reserve for faculty meetings, seminars, writing retreats, and faculty learning communities. Faculty and staff who support faculty can make reservations at ems.richmond.edu. Learn more about how to reserve a Faculty Hub space with EMS here.

Room Configurations

  • Multipurpose (default): Reading/writing is the default configuration for the MP space. In this configuration, there are many options for reading and/or writing: the six-person rectangle tables, individual writing nooks, and lounge chairs. Max capacity is 26.

  • Seminar: With the addition of 20 removable chairs, the MP space can be transformed into a seminar space with all the audio/video equipment needed to project slides and audio. Max capacity is 32.

  • Quiet Reading and Writing Space: The MP space is equipped with 8 study carrels and can be used for a quiet place to doing some reading and/or writing.
